Maathra Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 October 2026
This policy explains what information the Android app Maathra: Sinhala Lyrics Chords (package com.maathra_home.nnrzone.maathra, developer NNRZONE) collects and how it is used.
No account, no personal profile
You don't need an account to use Maathra. We do not ask for your name, phone number, contacts, location or photos.
Information the app sends
- Song and chord view counts. When you open a song or its chords, the app adds 1 to that song's anonymous counter so we can show popular songs. No information about you is attached to it.
- Song and artist requests. If you send a request or your own creation from the app, the text you type is stored so we can add the song. Only include what you are happy for us to read; do not include personal details.
- Favorites and settings (such as text size) stay on your phone.
This data is stored with Google Firebase (Realtime Database), operated by Google.
Advertising
Maathra is free and shows ads from Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from it, and information about ad interactions. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland the app asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time from the app's menu (Privacy settings). You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's Google settings.
Learn how Google uses this information: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Sharing
We do not sell your information. Data is shared only with the service providers above (Google Firebase and Google AdMob) to run the app and its ads.
Children
Maathra is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13.
Deleting your data
To ask us to delete a request you sent, email us with its text and the date you sent it.
